How to find your MAC Address (Ethernet ID) on Mac OSX

Many times you need to provide your network administrator with your mac address to gain access to protected network access. Here are the steps you can take to find your MAC Address on a Mac OSX

Access "System Preferences"

1 – Click the Apple icon in The top left corner of your screen.

2 – Select "System Preferences"

Access the "Network" preferences

Click on "Network" under Internet & Wireless.

MAC Address

On the left of the window select "The Network Connection"

Then select "Advanced…"

Click "Ethernet" on the tab

There you have your "Ethernet ID" also known as your MAC Address.
